The purpose of this blog is to write about my travels during my trip to Japan. I have been selected as a Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Scholar and will be traveling to Japan to study its educational system and culture from June 11-29, 2006. From Tokyo, I'll be traveling about 250 miles northeast to Kesennuma. It is in the Miyagi prefecture. Here is a picture of the hotel and surrounding area.
I've found out where I'll be staying in Tokyo as well as what city I've been assigned to along with 19 other educators. The hotel I'll be staying at in Tokyo is the Akasaka Prince.
